    Hi

I Have a Creda Reflection 48196 that I think tripped my fuse box. I flicked the power back on and the oven no longer worked.

I have pressed some of the buttons on the clock as I remembered that the oven would not switch on without the clock set and hey presto the oven now works.

Unfortunately the clock is not lighting up at all. The lights on the temperature knobs are working fine.

Do I need to somehow replace the clock? Is it fairly simple to do? Best place to buy? Any advice would be greatfully received as I could really do without the cost of calling someone out with Christmas just around the corner.

    Cheers

As the timer control is around £85.00 + vat and may have been damaged by a fault elsewhere, I would suggest you do not attempt to repair this with a control unit until the whole of the appliance has been tested electrically, £85.00 timers make very expensive fuses.

    Jim.

I’ve just noticed that there is a ‘ticking’ noise coming from the oven clock area. Don’t know if that alters things?

Where is the best place to find someone reliable to have a look at it? (In the Derby area if that helps!)
