Creda Reversair Tumble Drier 37666E

Hello,

The drum and the Timer on my Tumble Dryer (Creda 37666A) stopped working.

I do not know if it happened at exactly the same time or not but I was hoping that the 2 problems were linked. After replacing the drive belt 😀 today the drum is now turning fine and drying the clothes but unfortunately the timer is still not working. 🙁

Could there be a link between the 2 problems that I have not completly resolved or is a new timer required? 😕

Any suggestions gratefully received.

I take it the timer is not working as in not timing down? If so a replacement is required, p/no 1700752, £54.77 + vat etc. Contact spares@ukwhitegoods.com to order.

Thanks for your prompt reply Penguin.

Yes, you are correct that the timer is not timing down – I set it after reassembling to 60 minutes and checked it several times over the following half hour and the timer never moved – still sat at 60mins.
