    The back left ring in the hob switches on but gets very hot quickly and then switches it self off. It does not seam to matter at what level the knob is at 1 or 12.
    Had noticed that over the last few weeks there has been a bright light red at the side on the ring which was not there when it was new.

    Has anyone got a answer to this probelm. Please as the wife is getting at me to sort it out.

    Almost certainly an energy regulator failure.

    Power off, if investigating.
