Participanthello everyone,ive got a problem with a sensorcare tumble dryer.The belt snapped and i bought a new one from our local store and thought great problem solved.how wrong was i,after fitting belt around the drum through the jockey wheels and placing the motor correctly theres not enough tension on the belt.The motor seems none adjustable as this is screwed directly to the base plate,does anyone have any experience of these and could anyone please point me in the right direction cheers dave 😳 ps im a mechanic by trade for 18 yrs but must be doing something wrong

no belt no is the same as listed on all info searched.ive removed both jockey wheels and placed belt through and placed motor in what seems to be correct position but still slack only by about 1 ” though

you dont have to remove both jockey wheels to fit a belt

ah ha any chance of some inside info then lol as obviously the belt was snapped and cant seem to get a diagram for belt direction anywhere

ill take im correct in fitting the belt flat side to the drum

You don’t fit the flat side to the drum, it’s the ribbed side to the drum.

😀 thanks for all your help.Half hour later and what seems like a hundred screws dryer all fixed and with two full time working adults and two kids in horrid weather its a god send once again pto your a star for the help many thanks Dave 😉

the reason for all the screws imo is that creda hav shares in a screw factory 😆

Of course if you know what you are doing, you tip it upside down, remove just seven screws, prise the front panel away and slip the belt round the drum and onto the motor pulley, making sure you route it correctly. Under 10 minutes in total. 😆
