Creda simplicity 1000

Hi
Creda simplicity 1000 problem, drum turns forwards and backwards when washing but dosn’t turn on rinse(brings the water in then stops) and dosn’t turn on spin(timer clicks away but nothing happens).
Please help…. ❓

Probably the motor brushes packing in. Model number would help.

Don’t take out the car’s engine to check the oil! 8)

Unless your phyically taking the motor somewhere to be checked over?

It was motor brushes, Harraps in Southampton had them on the shelf.
Job done all back together and workin again

Touché, Paul, had you just told triphop that he/she did not need to remove the motor from the machine to check the brushes I’m sure he/she would have thanked you, as you chose an automobile analogy, referring to checking the oil I think the response was most apposite and amusing. 😆
