    buy this

and this (if the belt has dissapeared from the drum)
    http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Tumble+D … +Belt.html

hotpoint bearing kits used to have vague instructions included.

youll need philips s/driver, possibly rivetting tool, and a 18″+ long screwdriver/strong peice of V-section metal strip to act as a belt puller.

PLUG OUT FIRST before doing anything to machine or you will get a :eeek:

there is absolutely no need to have any electricity in the machine during the whole of this job

    TIPS:

ive always found access easiest by removing lid, then LHS panel (the side the vent is on). theres lots of hidden screws, so if it doesnt feel like its going to move, dont force it. you will need to take off the fascia panel. there are 2screws holding it screwed from the inside, rhs iirc and plastic catches on lower long edge. this then allows acces to top front screw holding side panel on.

always check front pads, if one of bottom 2x is paper thin, replace all of them. and have some 1/2″ self tapping pan head screws spare as a couple of ~TVR2s ive worked on seem to have had screws missing from new, hastening body flex and belt snappage… ~HTH~
