Creda Spacesaver Ecowash Dishwasher Model 18505E stuck

Dishwasher programme has just stopped working. If I set the dial it won’t progress and is stuck in that position. There is power and the machine will do what ever the dial position should be doing. If I turn the dial again it is stuck in the new position. I have tried tilting the machine forwards and backwards by 45 degrees – no change. I’ve unplugged the machine for 30 minutes – no change. The only difference is that now the machine leaks a little.

As this is an old machine is there anything else I can try or is it time to bite the bullet and get a new machine?

Tilting or unplugging this old tub will make no difference at all.

Most of the parts are now obsolete, it sounds as though the control timer may be faulty or possibly the heater. Leaks are not good either.

Time to lay it to rest TBH. 🙁

Och well! Thanks – worth a try. I’ll dig deep and think about one of the ise dishwashers – just have to make room for it!
