IIRC Chris, you could only get this seal as part of the front panel. The panel is Obsolete.

Seal has always been available, for some daft reason it doesn’t appear in Partfinder but it is in the parts list for Hotpoint varients, although not for that model, try 1700455.

I would check as this is a quote from Connects website.

During april’94 hotpoint changed the way the door seal retains to the front panel. All machines made after this date the seal is permanently fixed to the panelconsequently is it is not possible to replace/refit the seal as a single item. In such cases it will be necessary to replace the panel and air duct assy. Which will be supplied with a seal fitted. Part no. ‘S are listed in appropriate service manuals and the

My own Hotpoint TL61, date code 71 ( November 1999) has that seal and it is still listed in Partfinder. In fact I actually have one of those seals, carry it as a stock item.

I’ve found on this model this seal does fit, but has a tendency to pull off when
large amount are pulled out of the drum. I carefully apply some debor around the front panel lip then fit the seal. Haven’t had one fall of yet!!!
