Creda T622CW Condensing Tumble Dryer

Over weekend machine has started making a buzzing sound, seems to be coming from around the air intake, so I am thinking from looking at another post on here that something maybe stuck in the fan (the noise sounds like a stick held against a spinning bicycle wheel).

Is this something I can look at myself? I live in Putney in London so am assuming that any call out charges for an engineer will be high.

not an easy task checking that correctly
lid off, left hand side panel off (if looking from the rear) ull see the motor at the bottom…

really u should remove the drum to lift of the white plastic cover over the fan, but u can unclip it and lift it up high enuff to see if theres anything in the fan chamber

id check there aint a bra wire stuck out of the holes in the back of the drum first

could be a number of things that, from a noisy jockey pulley to the drum shaft being broke

plug out if ur investigating
