    yeh the old ones are obsolete, this is the message…

    This part was originally the old version but this part is now obsolete and indesit are suppling this new kit with the new pump float pump/float cover & Float pin you will need to retain the original float switch & Hose.

    BTW door flap number is 1703096

    Hi,

    Had a look at the Hotpoint link and as far as I can see the actual pump looks very similar. I don’t recognize the black looking gadget in the second photo, which I assume is the revised pump assembly?

    I’m assuming there have been problems with the pump and it’s assembly, causing noise and maybe water getting in to the fan/heater inlet. Anything with a technical message indicates a modification to solve problems on the early builds.

    C00260640 is the updated pump kit. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one if you wish to update.
