    Hi

I have a creda TCR2 Tumble dryer and it has been fine for just over a year now.

I have aways cleaned the filters and emptied the water out on a regular basis. Yesterday the empty water light came on so i emptied the water and proceeded carry on the cycle.

BUT the light won’t go off. The dryer will spin for the rest of the cycle but only with cold air.

I have turned the dryer off at the mains, pressed buttons and just can’t seem to get it going with hot air and to get the empty water light to go off.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Andy

the pump will either be blocked, or duff, of the float switch will be jammed

theyre both at the back, in the plastic housing, bottom right.

hope this helps, but unplug it first please

Lamp will also stay on if the safety thermostat has tripped.
