Purchased Creda condensor dryer today from Comet. Not the one I wanted but needed condensor dryer and wanted sensor drying, only option in stock. Got home, plugged it in, faulty!!! Very loud noise, assume fan or bearing as onnly when going in one direction. Also sensor still not cut load off after nearly 100 mins (washing was bone dry)

Comet say will call engineers. Surely if I reported it faulty less than one hour after purchase I am entitled to full refund?

Is this model a lemon? Was after Hoptpoint CTD40 but none locally has any in stock

    Jax 🙁

You’re entitled to refuse a repair and ask for a refund within 28 days of purchase which involves writing a letter to the retailer “rejecting the product”.

But, it may well be something quite straigtforward that can be easily remedied and a lot quicker than getting a replacement 😀

No matter how annoying it is to have a product fail on first use, it does happen on occasion and that’s what the guarantee is there for, let the engineer take a look and go from there would be my advise.

    Dave.
