My Creda tumble dyer (ten years old) is tumbling ok but there is no hot air being produced – just cold. Therefore, the clothes aren’t drying.

Is this a case of the heating element having blown or, is it just that it’s very old and has ‘had it’s day’ ?

Some sort of heater circuit failure – tell us the model number and we might be able to tell you more……………..

Most likely cause is thermostat failure. Checking them for continuity is the only way to be certain. Part number is 1701557. If you do buy these, handle them with care, do not press on the base of either stat.
