Don’t forget load size (too small = out of balance) 😉

OOB. Has she tried the machine empty to eliminate this. This is basically a WMA type machine, the later one can have the welded tub and the Indesit type drain & filter at the front.

Quick of the mark there Clive, I moved your last post to Trade Spares BTW. 😉

dont know guys she just said when the wash was finished the clothes were wet is the motor in this machine in the top or bottom and when she tryed to spin them no go she said it was making some kind of noise but not spinning unless the belt has come off or broke and the noise she heard is the motor no unusal faults or thing to look out for fasetester 🙂

Well I thought telling you it was basically a WMA would have given you a smidgen of a clue, :rolls: 😆

Unlikely to be brushes unless it has been really hammered. Make sure it is not just OOB then look for breaks in wiring harness around the motor plug. Faulty belt should be obvious. 😉

Occasionally a load just refuses to balance but more commonly if there is a very small load there just isn’t physically enough laundry to spread around the drum to balance it. Usually happens if the load is just a couple of woolly items or towels both of which become very heavy when wet but not large enough to spread around the drum surface 😉

fasetester wouldn’t it be best to simply go out and take a look at this machine first? Interrogating your customer on the phone does have its limitations as often they haven’t a clue what’s happening or give the correct account anyway? That’s why they asked you to take a look at it after all said and done. 🙂

We are now trying to speculate on the cause from that information. Take a look at it for us and let us know what you reckon is wrong, eh? 😉

    Well I never :rolls:

It just goes to show that investigation reveals more than speculation ever will. 😉

did not know it was faulty belt jim until i went to see the machine that would have been simple until i turned the drum the bearings were well gone the main reason why the belt had come of seem to be getting more loosers than winners fasetester 🙁
