Hi All, I Have a Creda Xpression X 152e Cooker which has developed a fault recently and I wondered if any one could help with diagnosis before I start forking out for parts. 😆
❓ The Top Oven (Grill) and the right hand side rapid heat hotplate are getting hot (too hot to touch) but not hot enough to cook food with. I suspect that there may be a thormostat problem, but I’m no expert. My son-in-law is a competant and qualified electrician, so any works that need doing can be safely carried out with the cooker disconnected, and he is capable of testing componants (although I am capable of testing comonants as I have an engineering background). I would be grateful of any help you can offer.
    Many thanks
    😉

    Two unrelated problems I think.

I would be looking at the grill regulator and either the hotplate selector switch and/or the hotplate itself as both are prone to failure.

Many thanks for the prompt reply, I Assume that the regulator and selector are basically the On Off controls on the front of the cooker?
