    On a Zanussi dishwasher part no 1529790923 the filter assembly, what is the function of the white plastic attachment about 1 1/2 inches high which sits towards then outer edge of the strainer. Customer has lost this piece and the price of a new filter assembly is a bit 8O.

    I’d like to know that too. I have a customer with one which has been broken off for years but still works.

    my guess was it would allow air trapped under the filter to get out easier

    thats all i can think of but zann must have had a reason
