    how on earth do you change a belt on this m/c . ihave it in a thousand bits and still no nearer.best from front or back.any advise would be helpfull.m

    cheers chris i started from the front what a pig of a machine looks like that fan has to be broken of.m

    not so,

    use 2 large flat bladed screwdrivers 180 degrees apart, nice and smoothly with force and it’ll come off ok. Have never broken one yet, or had too.

    I found that heating around the centre of the fan & the shaft with a hair dryer plus the 2 screwdriver method worked best for me

    dont loose the little key that locates the fan on the shaft, i did and it took several recalls and new fans before I knew I had lost it.

    dont lose that key
    bit of superglue to hold on place before putting back on
