I have a crusader 37667 condenser dryer, which just blows cold air even on the high setting. I’m assuming that the thermostat has blown? I’ve had a look for spares but although they seem to be available, I’m not sure which one to get! I have the choice of 2 thermostat kits – 1 with 1 part and 1 with 2 parts – and a front thermostat………..can someone put me out of my misery and confusion and tell me which one I need?

    Cheers

    Hi Diane / Penguine45,
I’ve just gotten the same problem.
So I need to locate that darned thermostat, hopefully, without removing ALL of the panels of my tumble dryer. Can you please tell me where the thermostat is located (i.e. which panel to remove)?

    Many thanks,
    Richard

There are two thermostats in the kit, can be found behind the small panel on the back. you would need your exact model and serial number to indentify the correct parts and a suitable test meter to check them out, with the mains plug removed of course. 😉

    Jim.
