Re: Crusader condenser Tumble Dryer spins no heat

unplug first, remove metal bar across rear then remove heater cover you will find two stats on top of heater assy one with a green / or red? spot on and the other with none, remove wires from stats note colours from each check for continuety across these probably spoted stat oc.

If indoubt contact a local enginner details on site, or dave conway or kwatt
they will be able to advise on correct part nos and supplier of part.

    remember electric can kill

    Thanks whitevanman

Ok found GREEN spot stat. I have removed wires from both stats.

Now how do I check for continuety across these probably spoted stat oc. ??

how will I know if to replace stat?

If stat ok then what next?

Re: Crusader condenser Tumble Dryer spins no heat

You really need to check them for continuity with a test meter (with the power off :zap:)

If one has failed the serial number is also required to identify the correct kit. Other faults could be the front thermostat, the heater or one of the two timers.

If you need help from an engineer please check the repairs@ link below 🙂

    Dave.
