    Have just changed the internal rear fan on this dryer – put it back together to find the display has completely vanished. Have checked connections to the user interface board and all seem ok. It didn’t fade, as has previously been the case with other machines of this model, it just disappeared. Is it likely to be the user interface board itself or something else? Thanks.

    check for an o/c stat at the heater.
