    hello I’m having a strange problem with new fridge i bought from currys , i have purchased a currys essential under counter fridge i have removed packing and the thing i have noticed is at the back of fridge there is grey padding covering where the condenser grill is , what i have been trying to find out from stupid currys technical is this grey packaging meant to be removed or is it meant to be there , this grey lining goes from top right down behind and underneath.

    Also currys are telling me that grey cover is meant to stay on which i find hard to believe is there anyone who could confirm this

    i have added some pictures ,
    the model of fridge is CURRYS ESS – CUL55W12

    any advice please thanks for help everyone

    Yes it is supposed to be there. Leave it alone. It covers the insulation. Its the cheaper way to manufacture cheap appliance . There is no other way to describe the product.
