Hi, I recently bought the tabletop dishwasher, Currys Essentials CDWTT13 model. Now, yes I know it isn’t going to win any awards but for my weekend visit seaside caravan it will do.
However, it doesn’t seem to be opening the catch for the dishwasher tablet. At the end of the cycle, I open the door to find the tablet barely used and still in the holder. I tried this on all programs to the same effect.
Is it faulty or am I missing something obvious?

Sounds like the dispenser is at fault. Does it not open at all or partially?

Hi Martin, thanks for the reply. It doesn’t look like it opens at all, but then I open the door at the the end of the cycle it springs open as usual, to reveal a barely used tablet. I should mention too, it is brand new, so could there be something I have missed, forgotten to take out?

Are you sure nothing’s blocking it when you load up ??

Andy, funny you should say that. My wife suggested she load it up, and guess what, it worked fine. Seems perhaps I was overloading it and that was preventing the tablet escaping. Don’t you love it when the other half sorts it out and thus proves you’re a wally? Anyway, it looks like it is fine now, but thank you for not just the replies, but the speed you gave them. I now have a great place to come for any of my home appliance queries!
