Not so much a horror story, more one of dismay!…..

A regular customer rang and asked me to look at the dishwasher…she said the back door was open and to just go in and fix it.

The machine is an AEG and it was draining constantly. ‘Let’s check the base for leaks’ I thought….unscrewed the front kick panel and it sprung out with a pop. It was at this point I realised the whole worktop complete with china display cupboard and plumbing for the drinking tap were resting on top of it putting so much pressure on it that the sides were beginning to buckle!

Needless to say the panel was re-affixed pronto….and a mildly snotty note left to the effect that I would return when the top had been cleared! 😆

If you think your customer will be unhappy to have her kitchen on display in a public gallery, let me know and I’ll delete it 😉
