Cw 494 no flashing lights but problem

I have a cda cw 494 rebadged whirlpool.
It’s integrated.
Been working fine for past few years,
Tonight after a big family meal, the dishwasher as decided to pack in.

There is no flashing lights only 4 beeps at end of the cycle.
The dishwasher must think it’s working
Has when you press a cycle button
It drains, then slowly trickles with water from the left hand side feed.
But then nothing, after the cycle it drains and beeps to finish.
None of the arms move or spray, it’s deadly silent between start and finish.
If I put it on a 65 wash, the water gets hot also, but nothing until it drains until the end.

It looks to me, there isn’t much water in there.

I have tried cleaning the filters out and pouring boiling water and cleaning the pressure switch near the filter.

these units are ultra reliable but have a few common faults

1 the wires break in the door. remove door cover and check the wires as they turn to go inside the machine at the bottom of the door

2 main motor. these wear and fail to start as they get older. result is machine goes through programme without any water action

Thinking about it the unit has been loud for past few weeks.
Reckon it’s the motor.
