System was too warm and water leaking from freezer door.
First visit Knowhow(????) man cleared the evaporator drain and defrosted it. Improved for a while but became too warm again. Knowhow checked that it was defrosting, concluded it was and changed stat and timer. Two stats later and the problem persists.

With fridge stat set to maximum cooling, stat clicks on at 7 degrees, compressor runs and stat clicks off at 5, freezer never gets below -15.

I am puzzled, three stats are unlikely to all be faulty. I don’t think it is the timer as the compressor runs frequently. Reluctant too call Knowhow again as it will be more of the same. Could the problem lie elsewhere. I don’t understand how the stat/timer circuit works, why is the resister(?) in the coil?
