Daewoo DWD G20D1 washing machine goes through washing cycle until it reaches spin cycle, watching machine it empties the water which is part of the final countdown from 17 mins when it reaches 11 mins seems to jump back to 12 mins until it finally stops after another 12 mins and shows an error code E8

stripped out circuit board as described on forums to checked for corrosion
found this board has been dipped in silicon completely covering all components
as a fix to previous corrosion problems No obvious burn marks or blown components, can this circuit board be reset or is it obviously beyond repair.

You don’t say whether there is aload inat the time or not, so i’m presuming that it does this with a load.
Can it be that maybe its an unbalanced load causing the problem?
If it does’nt get to full speed because of unbalance it will go back to beginning of spin cycle again. It may be a motor or p.c.b fault either.

Sorry should have said tried with and without a load motor appears to work in both directions and as per programme choice in wash mode or rinse mode works perfectly until countdown jumps from 11 mins back up to 12 until that time has lapsed then stops with error code E8 ….. Suspect Pcb so that was why I was wondering if they can be reset….
