Daewoo fridge freezer model no: FRA-X22B3W

Similar problem to others on here, in that fridge is freezing up. I’ve found the damper door near the bottom left hand side and it’s continually blowing through freezing air. I’m assuming this is coming through from the freezer. It looks like access to this component is from the freezer side, but I can’t work out how to get to it. Does anyone know if it is ok to block the damper door up with gaffer tape until I can get a technician to have a look at it? On that note, does anyone know of a technician in the Dudley/Stourbridge area please?

bear in mind Daewoo have gone and you cant get many parts anymore

have you tried defrosting it in case flap is frozen ?
