We’ve been having problems with our fridge/freezer about a year ago it stopped working and after 48 hours of it being switched off when we switched it on again it worked and has been working every since.
Over the last 6 months the door chimer has been going off every now and then. (The door chime only happens when the door is left open).
Last night the chimer went off all the time (after about 4 chimes it usually stops) but last night it kept on going and the display was flashing and my husband said the compressor stopped (or fan). It switched off no lights or noise. It kept repeating itself for about 5 minutes so we switched it off for about 30 minutes and then back on. Initially the same thing happened but then it kicked into life.
Its working at the moment but im afraid that something serious is wrong and it will happen again.
Do anyone know what is wrong? The kitchen was built around the fridge/freezer so I’m at my whits end wondering what is going to happen.
Also it says that the freezer temperature is -19 which I think is wrong.
