    Hi All,

    Posted this in the spare parts forum, but the helpdesk implied I should try in here as they have no more technical info listed against the new part. 😳

    I recently ordered a new PCB to repair our Daewoo FRS 2021-WAL? fridge freezer.

    However, as per the attached picture, the old board sn 30143B4000 is smaller than the new unit sn 30143C4005. Whilst it fits in the pcb housing, the layout of the connectors on the new board is such that the harnesses will not reach?

    The looms for connectors for CN11, CN12, CN13 and CN14 are too short to be connected with the new PCB in place.

    CN1, CN3 and CN4 do not have anything connected to them, although I have one connector (CN3 on the original board) which does not match any of the remaining female connectors on the new board.

    Therefore, only CN2, CN5, CN6 and CN9? plug straight into the new PCB.

    Based on the additional information on the parts listing on the uk whitegoods website, I don’t doubt? the fact this is probably the right pcb. However, this seems to be more complicated than the connectors simply being moved.

    Should I need to cut into and extend the original loom to make the new PCB fit? Should I require a different interface for the original CN3 male connector?? Are there any additional service bulletins which explain the installation method for a new PCB at all?

    Any help much appreciated as I would like to have some cold tinnies in the fridge for the bank holiday weekend!

    Thanks for this tomdave.

    Whilst UKwhitegoods only list the one PCB for our fridge, having looked into it a bit further on the Daewoo spares site, they list reference 30143B4001 for the 2021WAL. My only concern is that the picture is exactly the same as the new PCB I have already received.

    Think I will quote them my original s/n and see what they say and in the meantime see if I can arrange a return with UKwhitegoods.

    Will let you know how I get on.
