I was asked to install a new washing machine and stacked dryer today. Nothing unusual in that I here you say. 😉
Whilst I was there the lady wondered if I could connect her new Whirlpool fridge freezer to the water supply…again no problem…sorted.
When I commented that she’d obviously been splashing out on new appliances? She then told me that thieves had burgled her house and took everything on the ground floor except the carpets and curtains! 😯
Settee, TV/DVD, Dining Table/chairs, Stacked washing machine, american double door f/freezer, microwave, kitchen utensils,toaster the bl**dy lot had been lifted!
They even had time to turn off the stopcocks and undo the inlet hoses and whip the wall vent out for the dryer as well…..! The time of the break-in was between 10am and 2 pm Sunday Nov 23rd. Neighbours were at home both sides during that time and never spotted a thing apparently. The PVCu front door frame was crowbarred out and everything came out the front door….and vanished into thin air….!!!
