Called to fit a new element to beko dryer as you cant replace the stats as you guys know.

New element didnt heat so i put the old unit back and bypassed the grey thermistor wires to which it heated …checked the resistence with my meter and a lighter and the grey thermistor seems fine…
Can anybody enlighten me to something ive overlooked? So basically old and new element= no heat.. both heat if grey thermistor ( 2 blue ) wires are conne ted together.

Confused tbh alan….just been back there checked everything over again… tried it…it heated! Told the customer to try a couple of loads in it and let me know..maybe a loose wire maybe heater relay or pcb itself…who knows at this stage.
