hi guys any advice here , checked motor , i dont know what values are supposed to be but i get continuity between some of the wires , 220 coming to power board and light working from on/off pcb input but no motor working when buttons are pressed hence no power to motor , could this be input buttons on pcb ? even though the lights are working when the other button is pressed

on most hoods there is common wire normally a neutral that will have an internal fuse in case of overheat

you should get a reading from any wire to any wire but one wire (common) will give a higher resistance

    yes sorry

the motor will have 4 or so wires. 1 common and to get the speed they switch to one of the others. my guess is the common one is open circuit

Hi Dave, motor wires check out, no loss of continuity between any of them , I will order a switch pcb to see if that sorts it
