De Dietrich booster not heating up

De Dietrich dop 390.

This is only works on some settings, but on booster the oven is not heating up.

The fan spins all ok, and the light and everything goes out when the door is shut, fan spots when door is opened.

Just will not boost to heat up, it tripped the mail RCD when it was boosting, and has had the problem since, could this be the element? How many does this have, does anyone know these ovens well?

My mum loves the over.

Sounds like the fan element has popped and I’d advise checking it before ordering however, here’s a link to the oven element:

Thank you, I will test it before I order, changed a few before on freestanding ovens, does anyone know how to do these, are they simple.

Same idea I would imagine, if you’ve done them before you shouldn’t have too much difficulty.

Hi,
I guess by now you’ve found out you have to take the oven out and pretty much dismantle it to get to this part.
I have one for sale with a new power board in it: working but needs a new booster element and the case fan isn’t working. Also have a spare power board with a relay blown and a transister missing. Email me on simon@forster53.fsnet.co.uk if you’re interested.
