    Hi O knowledgable ones

    I’m in the unfortunate position of having a dickie fridge as described above (220litre (177l fridge & 19l freezer), R134a, RG8229E3/D, Type:B207410 are the only other identifying bits I can find) on my hands. The symptoms being that the fridge compartment is being cooled (albeit only down to about 6 degrees), but the deep freeze compartment isn’t cooling at all.

    Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

    Hi Richard,

    Apologies for the tardy reply but I missed this one.

    It sounds as if you may well have a dodgy compressor that isn’t pumping right or a blockage in teh system (all too common with 134a), but that model comes up as being a fridge only so I’m guessing that you mean the ice box when you say freezer compartment. That being the case that ice box is the only cooling element in the cabinet.
