De Dietrich ceramic hob

Hi,
I have De Dietrich ceramic hob DTV306 or DTV303, I’m afraid I’m not sure which model it is as it was already fitted in here before we moved in.

I’m having a problem with one of Residual heat indicator, which is for left bottom one.
The light keeps on some time even if it’s not hot anymore at all and sometimes when I turn on right bottom one, the residual heat indicator for left bottom comes on as well as for right bottom one.
I don’t have any problems with anything else, but this is a bit annoying.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong and do you think I can just ignore this problem as long as other functions work properly?

HI

the fault will probably lie within the ceramic hotplate temprature sensor which is part of the hotplate itself.

the hotplates are’nt cheap so if you can live withit then leave alone until it fails.
