Hi guys, visited one of these today – my first pyro oven.
Customer ran the pyro cycle on friday but since then has no fan/element in main oven but can get top/bottom elements in both top and bottom ovens – does this sound like the pyro lock I have been reading about ?

Is this a physical lock on the door or some sort of electrical lock out ? Can I bypass it to test fuinction of fan oven ?

    Cheers guys

    Hi

Sounds like the door lock to me. If you have no fan or fan element and the oven light is on all the time. On the right hand side, betweenthe door and control panel, you should have a plastic switch strike which lines up with a recess on the top of the door, this plastic can break.

    Hope this helps

Sorry as this is a double oven the strike is below the top oven door not the control panel.

Hi, thanks for that. Yes popped back today and stripped this out – the wax actuator works as I tested it out of the lock assembly. If I actuate the lock myself still nothing works – if I set the oven to pyro I would expect the lock to close and the lock led to light but it does not – the oven light does go out though ! There must be a way to bypass this lock at the board – does anyone know how ?7

    Cheers again.
