De Dietrich DTV-115

Hello all, I am attending a De Dietrich DTV-115 on Thursday; it’s a friend of a friend. The reported fault is that when any one of the rings is selected the PCB locks its self and illuminates the locked LED. Customer has left switched off @ mains in order to re set? Still not working. Any help would be appreciated

The general consensus was to replace the guts and that was from DD as well, not in the least a cheap option. 🙁

I am unaware of any trick resets for these hobs.
