model no dod 448xg1 type ejkc1 , digital readout set at 180 degrees but nothing near that also fan not working probably lined in with the stat , which is probably connected to that massive pcb behind the front fascia, any help diagnostics etc much appreciated thanks
I would replace the motor first and go from there….I have just done a de dietrich and the motor was a piece of cake although I almost made the mistake of taking the three screws out from the oven cavity (They should come out of the motor accessed via back panel removal) Mine was a range type cooker but electornic display etc – symptoms were oven not reaching temp!
i came across one of these ( i think similiar model number) Can’t remember the fault exactly but there was a load of dry/cracked solder joints on the board, worth checking.
ok guys had alook at this model and its reaching temp. just about 177 for 180 and then the relay cuts out and it drops to 150 and then back up again process takes 4 or 5 mins costantly doing this , no dry or cracked joints on control boards ,,, could this be a thermostat fault , i got a reading of 438 k ohms from the stat ?
