De Dietrich vz994641/1 cutting out

Hi Chaps I have a D/W that works for 13 mins heating upto 43 degrees then stops, the lights on the top of the door go out and nothing happens for 5 mins then the pre wash light comes on ready to do the same thing again. Is there a safety cutout that cuts power to the board I am missing?

if its the one I think it is there is a cutout on top of the heater tank ,but its more likely to be a broken door wire

Hi

If you have a partial blockage this may cause the thermal over temp to cut out and then reset,normally cause by scale build up or sludge.

or broken wire ..as i didnt look at the top board cutting out also.
