We bought our first Hotpoint electric cooker late 1960’s and it lasted well over 30 years. Yes it did cost a lot in those days but present incarnations of Hotpoint only last on average 2-3 years before ie. small oven broke, grill broke, enamelling a joke on all machines rusting down to bare metal in 2 years (we have a DRY kitchen). Lot of faff, money, time, effort involved in keep replacing like we have in the past when they all go the same way. We have a Hotpoint HAE 60 which actually cooks okay but the quality and reliability stinks. So saw the above De Longhi model which looks interesting but know nothing about this brand. Interested to hear of anyone who has a De Longhi cooker especially the above model and how they rate it including customer service from retailer or DeLonghi. Many thanks.

I quite like Delonghi as a make. Mainly see thier range cookers which appear in their own name but also in other makes they make them for

our retail guru is away at the moment and out of internet range so he cant comment at the moment
