Hi all , a few days ago i asked for some advice on a hotpoint oven that a mate had asked me to look at and the replies were really helpful. So now , my mates brother has got a problem with the above oven and has asked me to also have a gander at it . The same prob – main oven not heating although fan works ok . I think this is the element req – –http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=26_299_269&products_id=348 – but was wondering about the actual work required . Is it another simple ‘back of oven’ job or do i have to get into the rear panel at all ?
Oh , and the tip about using bulldog clips to keep the cables from falling back behind the panel 😉 spot on !!!
