Dead Bosch Fridge Freezer KGE3301GB/05 – power supply?

Goop running out of bottom of transformer

I assume that this is dead. Its getting on a bit but was working fine… until it stopped.

Is it worth buying a new power supply (about £70 I think) and hoping that its just the power supply that’s gone and that this isn’t a symptom of something more or just binning this great and faithful servant?

maybe just a failed transformer and if you can buy that it may be less than £20 but you would have to hope no other components have failed

Thanks – bit the bullet and replaced it with a new Bosche fridge freezer. Lets hope the new one is as faithful as the last one.
