    Hello

    We have a Hotpoint WDAL 8640 washer dryer that was purchased in May 2015 (so little over a year old). It has been in daily use and has been faultless, until I went to use it this morning and it is completely dead! No power at all.

    I have done the obvious things – Checked the trips, swapped plugs, changed the fuse etc and no luck. A quick search online suggests that this isn’t a common fault. Just wondered if there is anything else I can check, or any suggestions of what the issue might be and how to fix it. I’m happy repairing things myself.

    It is a fault that is quite common TBH. If the mains cable, fuse in plug and the mains filter inside the machine where the cable enters are OK then this fault is often due to a faulty main circuit board, it is an Indesit after all. 🙁
