Not having much luck with ovens at the moment, ahem.

    I have a new world 444447228

    http://www.appliancesdirect.co.uk/p/444 … ric-cooker

It’s slightly over a year old, not been used much, had the hob on OK last week, this week tried it, nothing comes on at all.
Doesn’t have a timer as far as I know, tried the fuse, not that. Because it’s quite new it wouldn’t have an internal fuse would it?

Is there anything else obvious I could check before I call a man in? 🙂

You said in your microwave thread that you didn’t have a conventional oven, now it appears you do. You say the hob on it doesn’t work so do I take it that the oven and grill doesn’t work also? If the answer is yes, have you checked the wall switch as well as the fuse box?

    Re: Dead oven

Don’t have a WORKING conventional oven, amounts to the same thing – I am ovenless.

When you say have I checked the wall switch do you mean have I checked it’s on (yes it is) or do you mean have I checked the wiring inside switch (no). Like I said it was working the other week so it’d be surprising if it was that? I’ve checked the wiring connecting the oven, that seems OK.

    Cheers.
