dead oven – homark 01-700301

The oven (circular) element blew, and I replaced it. However, the whole oven is dead. Usually, you choose grill, oven, whatever and the fan spins, oven light goes on, red light at the front. None of that is happening.

I’ve taken the oven apart and found nothing that looks broken or burned out. The hob on the same electrical circuit is fine.

Could anyone with experience of this oven suggest the next step? Unfortunately I can’t use any of your recommended guys (not in UK) but I will buy spares from you if they’re needed.

It’s probably blown the main selector switch or possibly the safety thermostat.

Check for signs of damage to the contacts on the switch, the thermostat will need continuity testing.

Power off please when checking 🙂
