Dead Siemens SE64630GB/29 FD8106

Can anybody assist me with the following problem to the above mentioned dishwasher, that failed between christmas and new year. The machine has no power and the power cable has been fried, going from a normal flexible one to a very brittle one. The power to the wall socket is OK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a replacement cable and cable terminal assembly (Part No 498262. available via emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk )

I would advise expert help in replacing this though (see Repairs@ link below) as the wall socket and electrical supply to it will need fully inspecting/testing.

Dodgy electrics or rodent damage are the usual offenders by the way!
