Just had a long time friend on the phone, has two apartments. Dishwasher in one is not emptying, its a Necht (ugh) it sounds as though it is in a Maple lash up ( sorry kitchen ) She has contacted the number given to her and they have told her that they can send her the part but they are not repairing them anymore, also told her it was an old model (it has been in just over 12 months ) having had experience on Maple integrated kitchnes I have told her that If they get the dishwasher out I will go and have a look at it.
In the apartment they actually live in they have a DeDetriech dishwasher, are these any good and who makes them ?

Wow what a slur on De Deitch,, you could be up for slander there or is it libel? I’d rate the De Deitch up there with Miele, they are the bee’s knees when it comes to technology & engineering, but hey, don’t be afraid of them…

The DeDe is working fine, she was just asking what I thought of them after the sharp intake of breath she heard from me when she mentioned the Necht, I nearly went into my John Cleese routine. 🙂

Eh! De Dietrich dish is just grown up Brandt in a fancy dress and sold at a premium. Probably soon enough Fagor in disguise but retaining the Meile spares pricing structure (b***dy expensive) for what is, really, a mid-market appliance at best IMO. Oh and that’s when you can actually get the parts!
As for tech info, well best just not mention it, just like Brandt.
Am I a fan, nope most certainly not and I didn’t even mention their common failings once, I’m kinda proud of that. 😉
