ModeratorHave a call on wednesday – customer has brand new dishwasher and is complaining that the end of cycle buzzer does not sound. Somewhere in the past I believe there was item about this being a set up fault. Any advice much appreciated.

I can’t say I’ve heard of that bulletin to be honest.
I would think it would be a “switch on or off” option to the customer via the control unit though perhaps ?
I don’t have access to Agora here at home so I can’t see if it’s an electronically controlled unit or not, I can ask the tech guy at Brandt though if you want, drop me an email as a prompter 😉

Possibly jammed pump. DeDietrich dishwasher are Brandt under the skin – think old Hotpoint DF53 – roughly the same apart from PCB control. The spray diverter valve on these are troublesome; found underneath the machine (bottom plastic tray clips downwards) they usually leak first, so check the base for water.

dont see to many DeDietrich m/c but i saw one last year and it had a tech leaflet tucted away behind the plinth under the door beside module.but dont know if they all have them. 😉

dripping down thro an overflow pipe
seems awfully full to me
going back with a p/switch and door seal

All Brandt dishwashers have the sequence chart included and if computer controlled, the wiring diagram as well. There’s even a clip provided in the chassis moulding to hold it. Shame other manufacturers don’t do this, isn’t it? IIRC, the only other make that include the diagram inside is Miele.
