    Hi Guys.

    Have a problem with dedietrich steamer model dov399xe/1

    Everything works in that it makes all the right noises but not steam.
    There is an element under the bowl that’s open circuit but cannot see it on the diagram.
    It’s the only one we have ever seen so any pointers would be appreciated

    Hi
    the element is part of the bowl in bottom, Brandt call it a Generator (FR on diagram) should be 35 ohms.

    I hate those bloody steam ovens to repair. Great to use, not so good to fix.

    Part number 74X4110, special order from Masterpart, should be just under £30.

    Was open circuit so guess thats going to be a good place to start.Looks like a pig to get to..
