defrost not working on siemens frost free fridge freezer

Purchased a siemens fridge freezer in 2008, worked fine, then last year the fridge stopped working, engineer came along,fitted new fan and plate!worked fine for a week, he returned and fitted all new parts. after a year the problem has cropped up again, have defrosted it and it seems to be working, but for how long!it is still under warranty and i would like to keep it as it is really good when working. it does state in the manual that it is A+ rated, is frost free and does not need to be defrosted! please help

If its a free standing siemens fridge then u may have a 5 year garrantee
If not I would consider giving them a call and expressing your concern that it’s still not working correctly from when they last repaired it even though it was years ago if u push then they should offer a free inspection to check it has had the correct modifications to

thanks mike, I do have a 5 year warrantee. Did ring them and they said that they will come and look at it again, but how many time do they have to come to repair it!

Maybe at the time of the last repair they where not aware of the ful proceedure needed
